EVIAC Partner: VUB
The Electrotechnics department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB-ETEC)
has been involved in electric vehicle research for 20 years. The main topics
of the research have been connected with electric vehicle charging infrastructure
and with the study of the impact of electric vehicles on city traffic.
VUB-ETEC has been involved in several European research projects. including
the EDS programme ("Advanced electric drive systems for buses. vans and
passenger cars to reduce pollution"). where it acted as Project Leader.
In the framework of this project. it also collaborated to the TAUT-CT92-0006
action about inductive charging systems. |
